new cat bed!

Worth about three thousand words … I honestly never thought they’d take to it, but I couldn’t help myself as I’ve always collected fish-shaped things.

Hm, doesn’t look that comfy…but it’s cute
Cats need more cushions, I think.
Ours would never even consider anything such as a cat bed. They consider the already existing beds to be theirs. Of course they expect us bipeds to be grateful for letting us use them occasionally.
great cat bed – elegant and slightly raised above the floor where the stupid biped primates live… so ideal for cats!
Unfortunately, if you click for a larger image you also get to see bits of cat sand under the bed. Ever since we’ve had to put an extra litter box in the livingroom it’s a constant battle keeping the floor clean, so at weekends we don’t bother so much.
But the good thing about clicking for a larger image is that you get to see how gorgeous Azar is. It makes sense that he’d be the first to go for it – he seems to know which sorts of backgrounds enhance his natural beauty.
Elegant fish-shaped kitsch – love it.
Oh, I’ve yet to see them actually sleep on it – that’s what the big bed and sofa are for. Mostly they just sit on it for awhile and look cute.
That’s a really cute cat bed! Maybe if you beefed it up, from underneath, to make it puffier they’d really go for it.
Of all the cat furniture I have bought, over the years, the only one my various cats ever liked is a rather ratty-looking faux-fur hammocky thing, slung on a framework of plastic pipes.
Rocket claims it, and I’ve only seen Missy stand next to it, tempted. It’s hideous, and that’s probably it’s biggest attraction!

That ended up being the first and last time Azar got to hang out on the cat bed. Since that evening it has been Sunny’s … Azar has had to be content with a comfy cushion on the floor.
But I have to admit that Sunny does look rather regal on it…
