The other day I mentioned taking an afternoon walk in order to check out an area of town called the Alameda (previously dodgy, now up & coming trendy) because I wanted to include some restaurants there on Sevilla Tapas. I chose about half a dozen that I thought looked quite good, got names and addresses, business cards where they had them, and felt like I’d done a good job of researching the neighbourhood. One of the places on my list was called Jan El Jalily, specialising in middle Eastern food, so I told Susan about it (ever since Morocco we are all about the couscous) and we decided to check it out last Tuesday for lunch. When I chose a new theme for Sevilla Tapas last month I had no idea how much work it was going to be, as quite a few changes needed to be made. I’ve been very fortunate to have Kim helping me get things set up there and I think her work is almost done, though we keep coming up with more ideas for changes. And so, as if I didn’t have enough to do already, yesterday I decided that the main azahar-sevilla website needed to have a new theme as well…

I was tagged with this musical “me-me” the other day by my friend Blues Shark … on Facebook! Now, as everyone should know by now, I HATE Facebook and only stay there because of a few friends who only do social networking stuff there. And so I’ve decided to do this here instead.
