protection
Today’s Photohunter theme is “protection”.
Yep, we’re back to cats today.
Three photos showing various types of protection.
All pre-digital and so they’re pretty grainy.
Above we see a very young Sunny with his very protective mother Lua, just before their relationship totally changed and Lua went back to being the crankiest beyotch on four paws. She’d had about a six-week respite after the birth of her kittens during which time she became the most amazingly lovingest mother in the world. But once this period was over there were no more warm cuddly moments like this one and so you can imagine my concern a year and a half later when I brought Azar home. He was about five months old and I had no idea how the other two would respond to him. Well, you can clearly see Lua’s response by the evil look in her eyes below …
But Sunny and Azar were best mates since day one, and it seemed like Sunny had also learned a thing or two about protection and, probably, how nice it was to feel protected. Here’s Sunny looking after his little friend.

Awwww…. If only our two were “best mates”. Maybe Benjamin would teach Amber a thing or two about peeing in the box instead of the floor….

That is a pretty evil look on Lua, but kitty evil is the cutest type of evil in the world, so it’s all good.

Well, of COURSE you are back to cats! And if that isn’t the sweetest picture I’ve seen yet today, I’m not healingmagichands.
We have had three Siamese of different ages that did get along and four others that did not. Right now we are back at three. Chloe’s sister died …. Rhett and Scarlett are brother and sister and get along, but the pairs never did. Great pictures…
