    Love it, stealing it!

The idea that anyone made a video like that in the first place makes me tremble in my shorts.

The 80′s were a decade that should be allowed to slide quietly into oblivion, along with their music videos and soft filters…

What was up with the schoolboys with open shirts???!!!

Disagree, woo. There were plenty of very good vids back then. I think that music videos nowadays all have that “been done to death” look about them. But yes, the soft filters, fluffy hair and random weird images in this video are particularly ick.

Thing is, Sled, I’m sure I must have seen this video tons of times back in the 80′s yet don’t remember it being so crap.

Isn’t it fab, zoomer? Steal away! :)

I don’t know. I think more videos could have benefitted from dancing ninjas.

    I love the reinterpretation.

You make an interesting point, alejna.

    Me too, SS. :)

The lyrics of this are total genius. I should have stolen it the moment I saw it.

What is it about this song that inspires such brilliance? Kiki and Herb’s version is pretty kickass as well:

Like Rain, I was hoping no one else had spotted this but it is cropping up everywhere. I have stored it away to post in six months or so – research has shown that the average blogger’s memory is around three weeks so by December all will be totally forgotten.

80′s glam rock vids were so much better than todays cRap vids!
