ripples

August 22, 2009

Today’s Photohunter theme is “ripples”.

Bit of a no-brainer for me this week as I am spending ten glorious sun & sea filled days in Zahara de los Atunes. Every morning I go for a walk along the beach and bathe my feet in the Atlantic, so when I was wondering yesterday what I could come up with for “ripples” (was walking on the beach at the time) the obvious  suddenly dawned on me.  Feeling more than somewhat duh I promptly took out my camera…

I think we’ll see a lot of water, the most common place to find ripples. Your collage is nice, particularly the 2nd one with the light glinting off the surface.

    Love this collage of ripples!!

I tried to think of something that was ‘different’ other than water…

So, HERE is mine The Ripple Effect.

Perfectly ripply! Your impromptu photo shoot paid off beautifully.

Speaking of “duh” moments, I just noticed this morning that Zahara is an anagram of azahar. One one that barely needs the letters rearranged at that.

And did you know that Zahara is pronounced “Thah’ rah”, with the accent on the first syllable?

The three bottom pics look a bit dull as thumbnails but are actually quite pretty in a subtle way when you click on them to see the bigger version.

Just back from incredible lunch in the village (went there earlier this morning to meet Nog at the bus station) and so will be taking an evening beach walk for a change. The ripples not only look nice – they feel wonderful on the feet.

    Nice piccies, as always.

You may have mentioned it before somewhere but I wondered what kind of camera you use?
