the christmas tree test

You Are Quirkily Offbeat

During the holidays, you do things your own way. You have eccentric decorations and traditions.

You like to keep things a little kooky and crazy. You hate it when the holidays are too upscale or stuffy.

You believe that the holidays are for everyone, and you like to make your own celebration funky and eclectic.

You mix and match what you like best. No one is going to tell you how to celebrate this year!

Got the same one. Since I just found a half-functional string of lights and festooned my bathroom with them, I think this is on point.

    You are Brightly Optimistic
During the holidays, you’re the one who has a bit of cheer for everyone.
Even when things get hectic and chaotic, you keep on smiling.

You believe it’s important to have a spirit of generosity and gratitude all the time… but especially this time of year.
You get more satisfaction from giving than receiving. You’re always going out of your way to improve someone’s day a little.

    Erm?
Not looking forward to Xmas. Not keeping on smiling. But do like making people smile.

    You are warmly compassionate.
During the holidays, you take time out for yourself and the people that you love the most.
You try not to get caught up in the hustle and bustle. You prefer to stay inside your warm home as much as possible.

You believe that the holidays are all about the little things. Being and reconnecting with those closest to you.
People are important to you, not gifts. Love is the best gift in the world.

    Brighty Optimistic as well.

Not sure it’s right for me either

I could have come up with the quirkily offbeat designation for you, Az, w/out the test. Now I suppose I should see where I am on that scale.
How was the port flush? Did I miss a post somewhere? Was that a creepy question?

Don’t think I specifically posted about the port flushing thing, Beth, though I may have mentioned it somewhere here. I know I mentioned it on Twitter. It went okay, except for the HATING TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL bit. And I was haunted by the memory of the last time I had it done and was away at the hospital while Sunny lay at home dying. As usual I was hit with immediate waves of nausea upon entering the chemo room, but in fact the nurse was the best I’ve ever had and I didn’t even feel the poky bit going into the port (it’s usually quite OUCH).

Anyhoo, that’s it now till mid-January. About the same time I should be getting the next PET scan.

    Another brightly optimistic soul here.

    I’m obviously quirky as well.
