twelve

December 26, 2009

Today’s Photohunter theme is “twelve”.

With this post I have completed my first year as a Photohunter – I did not miss a week! – and I hope to participate as a weekly photohunter for many more years to come. Many thanks to tnchick for making all this possible.

The other day I mentioned a wonderful gift that I’d received in the mail. It was this absolutely splendid book by Robert Sabuda, quite aptly called a “pop-up celebration”. Because as I opened each page I was filled with joy and wonder at the intricate and beautiful displays. And I’d like to share those images with you today, along with wishing you all the best of the season and a very happy new year.

Not for PhotoHunter but I added a post to my blog with one of my Christmas presents, this year.

Robert Sabuda is fantastic. Sara gave a copy of his Moby Dick adaptation last year for hristmas and it’s beautiful.

Whoops. Moby Dick is Sam Ita. I was confused by the fact that I gave a copy of Sabuda’s dinosaur book to my sister a few years back.

I like pop up books – they make great presents. This year I gave a rather funky pop up tour of Graceland to my sister-in-law.
