one year old!

December 7, 2010

Today is Loki’s “official” birthday, chosen by me because, of course, we don’t know exactly when he was born. The vet wrote his birthday as being on the 8th in his little health certificate book, but since both Azar and I have birthdays on the 7th (April and January) I moved it up a day. It was on February 7th that I first wrote here about choosing him, and had been told that he was about two months old.

And so today – más o menos – he turns one year old.

Happy Birthday, Loki!
(sure hope you’ve stopped growing…)

HAH! Time flies, doesn’t it? This picture made me smile inside and out.

Happy birthday Loki – Sam would be very jealous of the fishy lounge if he wasn’t busy snoring..

In the second photo, his left ear is turned just slightly as though he was monitoring something else while staring at you. SO kitty kat!

This is scary because December 7 is Mr. Ferguson’s day too — that’s the day I lured him in in 2007 — and I swear up and down he somehow sent his DNA all the way to Seville to be used on Loki.

I assume there will be an asparagus and beef birthday dinner…

What a cutie pie! And I love that cat bed! Very cool.

That bed is amazing. Bought it back in March 2007 never really thinking that either Azar or Sunny would ever use it, but I loved it and just had to get it.

Turned out Azar was the first to try it out, which then showed Sunny it was “safe”.

After that Azar never sat on it again and it became Sunny’s bed, which was left vacant after he died … until Loki came along. He took over the fish bed almost immediately. Weird, eh?

Aw, those are great pix, Az. The bed obviously has good kitteh energy around it!

    Gee that came around quickly

I love that cat bed – and the good kitteh vibe story. Happy (belated) Birthday to Beautiful Loki!
