Posted this collage last week on the Sevilla Blog. This is Sevilla’s most famous magnolia tree, in front of the Cathedral. Today I was walking by again and saw there were many more blossoms, though it was hard to get a good shot…

I love the pods from Magnolias. In our climes, the Magnolia blooms on a tree with sparse leaves. The leaves fill out when the blooms are done.

Lovely pics and even though you’ve only featured one tree and the cathedral, a reminder of how beautiful old Sevilla and its plants are!
