I actually paid for this app because I thought it might be a good way of passing the time whilst riding the dreaded Bike at the gym… but I can’t stop playing.
Totally panicked the other day when I only managed to win by 3 points because I can’t lose one now!
I think I need more human contact.
Anyone want a game?

Maybe if you lose a few games in a row, you’ll become less hooked … or maybe it will have the opposite effect as you desperately try to re-establish your supremacy!!
Honestly, I get all panicky when it looks like I might lose! Almost lost again today except the computer got stuck with a Q and I won by a hair.
What I need is to start playing my friend Dan again. He beats me about 95% of the time, which would put anybody off…
I have to say that although the computer has a much larger vocabulary than mine (some of the words it comes up with I’ve never seen before), it lacks strategy. I also think it’s programmed not to use 7-letter words, but it also hoards the blanks until the end for some odd reason. It also plays its turn a split second after I’ve put my word down, so no waiting half an hour for my opponent to think of “a good one”.
I love Scrabble but haven’t played in months — with human or artificial intelligence!
I always read thriller books on the bike.
