cn tower edge walk

July 31, 2011

In May of this year the city of Toronto started doing “edge walks” around THE OUTSIDE of the top of the CN Tower. As I used to live in downtown TO and had a fabulous view of the tower from my 26th floor apartment, the edge walks piqued my interest. To give you an idea of exactly how tall this baby is, watch the short video above.

Done? Okay, now watch this video of an edge walk done this past week. I sweated all the way through it. People actually pay $175 to do this??

I would do it, but I wouldn’t pay $175 for it. Well maybe if $ 1 were like 0,10 Euro. I did walk round on the (enclosed) space on the Shanghai television tower that has a perspex floor. I would consider doing that, for instance, the day the sun explodes. In other words, no chance.
