Ah, that’s why I’ve been seeing so much Haring on Tumblr. Haring had an amazing spirit and an amazing gift. I can never get enough of his art.
Me neither. I saw an exhibit in Toronto with a video showing him creating the piece we were looking at and it was like he was being “guided” somehow – no hesitation and not one wrong move. Amazing is right.
Of course, this suffers from the flaw of all recent Google Doodles: it looks like the thing it references (Haring’s art work) but not the thing it’s actually supposed to BE, which is letters forming the word “Google.”
I have to admit I had never heard of him.
