Welcome to my birthday!
No big plans for today. I’d hoped for a day trip somewhere but that didn’t work out, so I think I’ll just take a “day off” and see what happens. Peter has promised to nip out early and pick up the traditional birthday brekkie arabic pastries I like, so that should get things started quite nicely. And after that, well, who knows…

Been having a great day! Instead of going out to super-expensive seafood place (which I still really want to visit some day) we went on a birthday “tapeo” to three fabulous tapas bars and had snacks and drinks at each one. It didn’t quite turn out as planned, but we ate tons for less than half of what seafood place would have cost, plus we got to walk a lot in between bars. So it was like a tapas tour for me. For a change! 😉
