I watched War Horse on dvd. Just for the Devon bits really, but it was amusing, especially the Anglo-German stereotyping and the wire cutters hurling.
Such a cute kitty! I went out for dinner with my best friend last night
Saturday evening was a family get-together in honour of my nephew’s 3rd birthday. But I spent Saturday afternoon like that, curled on the sofa with the dog and my kindle.
There’s nothing like it, is there?
I would say napping with cats is my favorite weekend pastime, followed closely by painting.
Aw, that’s unbeatable.
I tend not to have weekends as most people know them, though Saturday night is almost always some fancy cooking. Anytime I have downtime to myself, though, I brew tea or pour some herby liqueur and prop myself up on the bed with pillows and a book. A cat immediately occupies me. We doze off. It works every time.
Napping with the cat would be a fine thing. We nap at thevsame time. We just don’t nap togethr.
Actually, Loki was doing the napping here (and helping to keep me warm) while I watched a DVD. He’s only started doing this since Azar died. I think it was pretty much understood back then that I was already taken…
Relaxing together with the cat on the couch is a great alternative. I dont have to be active and going out everyday. Spend some time at home is cool too to relax. Thats what I sometimes do as well.
