Just got a call telling me that my next PET scan will be next Tuesday at 8.00 am. Eep!

Eep, indeed! It never gets any easier, does it. (Does it?) It’s too bad they have to schedule it so far in advance (though I’m sure it’s necessary).
I will be sure to send you lots of positive thoughts and keep all available appendages crossed. How long does it usually take to get your results?
No, it never gets any easier. It actually gets harder because the longer I go without having a recurrence the more I think I’m closer to having one. A week’s notice is actually very very short notice. Most people have to wait a lot longer. I will get the results the same day, which also isn’t usual.
