The cat owners had a 30 per cent reduction in heart attack risk than participants who didn’t own cats, said the study’s lead author
Yeah I know, seem to be on a roll with the cat stuff lately … but isn’t this excellent news for all of us who have cats that allow us to live with them! So, does the fact that I live with two cats lower my heart attack risk by 60 per cent? Or do I also have to take Nog into consideration? 😉

Uh oh … that probably cancels out one cat’s worth of benefit, nursemyra. 😉
When I was looking at shuffles online I saw that they offered to engrave them, uw, but they didn’t mention this at the store where I bought it. I probably would have had something very imaginitive like ‘azahar’ put on it. What’s on yours again? (I read it on your blog but can’t remember now)

And coincidentally, dq, Buff used that very same quote over at Archie’s today, so I’ve been able to use my statistics joke, um, fact twice in one day.
I mean, what are the odds? Oh wait … 378,536 to one.
