Following on the heels of my third blog anniversary, today is another anniversary of sorts. A year ago today I woke up feeling awful, with terrible stomach cramps. At first I put it down to having had a bit too much vino with my friend Judy the night before. Little did I know that my life was about to totally change forever. Yesterday was the last day of Feria (the April Fair). I didn’t get to go during the week because of feeling worn out by the chemo, but Nog and I walked over on Friday afternoon and I took a few photos. This little cutie was talking to her sister and as soon as she saw me pointing the camera at her she struck a pose. Too adorable.

Today’s Photohunter theme is “walking”.

It occurred to me the other day that almost all my footwear is red. This is the selection that I spied while sitting up in bed having coffee – I think all that’s missing from my “collection” is one pair of black sandals and a pair of black shoes.

Must be that red footwear makes for happier walking.
