So this year Luna not only got a new cat stand (as she does every year) she got an upgrade. I usually just get the same model as it’s cheap and doesn’t last long anyhow. But this time I was looking around online, saw this slightly taller one (with more dangly bits) for about the same price and decided what the heck. As soon as I got it unpacked and on the table Luna was all over it, glaring at me as if to say… WELL, GET TO WORK. So I did and, once finished, she showed her approval by immediately ripping the shit out of it.

Dammit. I just wrote a long, folksy answer about my cats’ relationship to their stands and WordPress ate it. This has been happening regularly, something about my hand brushing the Shift key while some other key is down but damn if I know which. Erases an entire reply or post. FUCKING WORDPRESS, how do you keep making your product worse? First the sign-in is Byzantine and not even consistent between blogs, does not even carry over from one blog to the next, now this. Anyone else having this happen?

Omg WP.com is driving me nuts. I hate the “blocks” thing and, at least for now, they are still allowing use of the Classic Editor, but it’s become so glitchy. I can’t answer to you here unless I sign in and answer from my dashboard. And it won’t keep me logged in, which is really annoying. These days I draft replies on gmail so if they disappear here they aren’t lost.
