Where are you on the political compass?
I remember doing this test a couple of years ago when I saw it posted on h2g2. Today I found it again over at dragonqueen’s lair. I came out as Libertarian Left (same as last time – no big surprise) and my compass position was:
Economic Left/Right: -6.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.38
Same as Ghandi

Economic Left/Right: -7.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.13
I’m not sure how to read this, though.

Economic left (minus figure) indicates a belief in economic equality. Social libertarian indicates a belief in the rights and freedoms of the individual.
If any of us ever acquire positions of wealth and power expect a shift of position towards right wing economics and authoritarianism.

No surprise on the economics compared to y’all, but I am a bit surprised that I’m more libertarian.
Perhaps this is textbook US vs Europe highlighted here?
