You are Debian Linux.
People have difficulty getting to know you. Once you finally open your shell they’re apt to love you.
I suppose others would have to vouch for the truth of that one.

CONGRATULATIONS!
You are Windows XP. Under your bright and cheerful exterior is a strong and stable personality. You have a tendency to do more than what is asked or even desired.

You’re still strong despite the passage of time. Though few understand you, those who do love you deeply and appreciate you
Sweet. I do love the old-school OS’s.
Amiga OS was the OS for the Commodore Amiga – a great system which just didn’t take off.

Debian Linux here.
Maybe I should go hunt up my old desktop, somewhere in L.A. — I hear it’s running Linux now. :p

Apparently OS/2 Warp…
Never even heard of it. No wonder I have an identity crisis.
And no comments about me being warped, thank you.

OS/2 Warp – goes back about 15 years – it was one of MS attempts to take over the world.

That makes sense. My attempts to take over the world have all failed too.

What is Debian Linux, for that matter? Linux yeah, that rings a bell, but Debian? Isn’t that sometime around the Jurassic era? 😉

It’s actually Debian GNU/Linux —

Ubuntu is a simplified*, direct offshoot of Debian, and contributes back to the Debian project.
*Over the last couple of years, Debian has become extremely easy to install and set up. It is also much easier to update than Ubuntu, imo

Easy to install? Sounds like my kind of Linux — had a few niggles about Red Hat Linux, the interface drove me mad! Thanks for the info!
