The HP TouchSmart 2 All-in-One multimedia PC is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and comes with a 22-inch LCD display, integrated DVD burner, WiFi connectivity, 4GB of RAM and integrated WLAN, along with wireless optical mouse and low-profile wireless keyboard with numeric keypad, and built-in TV-tuner.
I was out this morning with Judy, who needed to buy some printer ink, and we ended up in the computer section of El Corte Inglés. I took the opportunity to visit, fondle and otherwise drool over, the gorgeous lightweight Toshiba that I’ve been coveting since last January. And then I saw this beautiful beast. I could hardly believe it … an all-in-one PC with no tower.
And so forget the iPhone. I decided I need more motivation than the purchase of an iPhone next year to overcome this cancer thing. 😉 Instead I’m planning to get one of these 22″ screen babies for my ‘office’ at home and the lightweight Toshiba for when I’m out and about (and I’ll still have Sexy Beast for when I want computer access in other parts of the house). Of course this will be after I work out that great new biz idea that’s going to make me rich and require that I have all this stuff. . .
What the heck – if I’m gonna dream might as well dream big.

Absolutely dream big! I am at present at our friend’s place in Wisconsin sitting in front of the mac version of that all in one computer. It has a giant screen– almost but not quite as big as the tv we have at home! Okay, so I’m exaggerating a bit, still it is a pretty good sized screen, and the whole idea of not having a tower really pleases the housekeeper in me; one less thing to dust and vacuum around.
It is likely that we will get something like this but probably with a smaller screen, and it will have the mac operating system. We have had too much trouble with the operating system on the PC we have and after much cogitation, Jim has decided we are not buying another one of those machines but instead getting an apple.
