When Pip and I were in Tangier this past (long) weekend we ate at the Hamadi Restaurant twice. They have a wonderful group of musicians there who play delightful music while you dine. This was taken on our second visit – the guys already “knew” us by then and were happy to appear in a video. I told them I was going to make them famous.Β π
Here’s something to listen to while you patiently wait for me to organise my photos.
Video! Yay!!!
I especially like the guy on the end who waves. π
Nicely done.

Good to see you made it home safe and sound and with all of your stomach.

This video only turned out because I just kept going for the whole song and didn’t have to edit anything, zoomer. I really don’t know what to do about that. Pip also kept telling me “how easy” video editing was until I sent her a couple of files and she couldn’t get them to work with her editing software either.
Yes, that guy on the end looked soooo serious that when he smiled it was like sunshine breaking through clouds. And the singer is wonderful. This particular song didn’t show off his voice as much as others did. It’s a shame I didn’t get the previous song to this one – it was quite rolicking.
Well, not sure about still having all of my stomach, hmh. I’ve been in bed all day feeling very weak and achy, with serious “dire rear” and a bit of a fever (38ΒΊ) … it almost feels like I have flu. But it could just (just? – ha!) be a reaction to having been so sick yesterday. Managed to get up around 5pm to have a shower and eat a sandwich, but then it was straight back to bed. Hope I feel well enough to go to yoga tomorrow – I’ve already missed three classes this month!

CRIPES!… I just wrote a long thing and then when i clicked “submit”, it went to the next page and told me I forgot to enter my info… I am so used to it being there that I forgot… and everything I wrote was gone… OF COURSE….
What I said (I think) mwas… If you aren’t feeling better soon, see your doctor. You could have picked up a bug and given your recent health issues, you wouldn’t want to let things go…
I can’t wait to get home and see the video.
On another note… I have worked with (well… not WITH but in the same government office as) this guy for over 6 years. I see him on a regular basis and despite my saying “Hello” to him regularly, he has never ONCE acknowledged my existence.
However, being the hopeful sort, I continue.
Last week, he actually responded to something I said to him and another nearby coworker. Today he (and I nearly fainted) asked me a question (sadly, I did not know the answer…) and just now ACTUALLY said “Goodbye” to me as he left to go home….
Patience is a virtue….

I loved that! The music was wonderful, and it was great to see it in video. I was fascinated by the violin held like a little lap cello.
Also, I wanted to leave a comment on your new post, but comments are closed. Not that I have anything earth-shattering to say…but wow, that looked like a great trip. I really would like to go there some day.
Hope your “rear” issues are continuing to improve. Please take care of yourself!

Hey thanks for telling me, alejna! I didn’t notice that the comments were closed on that post … I wonder how that happened? Anyhow, all fixed now so you can comment away. π
As for the other matter, I’m hoping that by tomorrow I will no longer need to be within 30 seconds of a toilet … we shall see.
