Having a great morning. Coffee & mince pie (the last one!) in bed. Now getting up to make some elevenses for me and Nog. Smoked salmon scrambled eggs on toasted croissants. Mmmm…
We had our big Christmas dinner last night (Spanish style) and so today will just be hanging around in pj’s, reading and watching Christmas films, and snacking on left-overs (of which there are plenty). And maybe a walk, if I can bother getting dressed.
Hey Steve, have you seen this video? Looking forward to seeing something similar with the Furfles once their tank has been constructed.

Absolutely Merry Christmas! We had snow on the ground this morning. What a change from the rain of yesterday.

Really nice hearing about other Christmases … feels like being there with you all.
The rest of today was happily spent playing scrabble, backgammon & chess while drinking cava and watching It’s A Wonderful Life … then a few skype calls … and a sneakily arranged prezzie for someone who will least expect it (I love that shit) … and Christmas dinner left-overs … and one “uh oh” moment when I tied a ribbon around Azar’s neck and he went ape-shit … but now Azar is happy and playing sofa danger cat … oh, and Nog and I exchanged prezzies. And I’m still in my pyjamas!

A quite Christmas at my brothers with my mum and sister there as well. Appallingly traditional but nonetheless excellent Christmas lunch as well.
I wouldn’t be holding my breath for pictures like that. Whilst it is indeed a great tank, what we hadn’ttaken into account was the fact that the boys are about twice the size of normal moggies so Murphy is actually bigger than the tank itself. Ah well, it’s the thought that counts and Foley has enjoyed making sure it smells right so not a total waste.
