So you almost got a very silly video of me, Luna, Loki and Peter doing a rousing rendition of Feliz Navidad, but after I uploaded the pics I found out I couldn’t share the vid without paying an annual fee to JibJab.com. And when I looked at the original Elf Yourself site the list of TERMS AND CONDITIONS was so baffling that I dared not share anything here without risking a massive lawsuit. So fuck it. No more elves.
But I’ve been having a lovely Christmas Eve so far. Got up early and got some work done, then went to the gym. After that Peter and I did some final food shopping at the market and after that we went out to say Feliz Navidad to some of our friends at their bars. And now we’re back home, all comfy and cosy. I’m going to prepare a whole fish baked in salt for the first time and we’ll watch a couple of Christmas films. I kinda like how Sevilla totally shuts down after 6 pm on Christmas Eve, including bars and restaurants.
What’s Christmas Eve like where you are? How are you spending it?

It’s wet here … again! Town was very busy this morning. We’ve been over to see my (& Peter’s) mother this afternoon – she can actually hear reasonably well again since having her ears syringed on Thursday, so that makes life easier for everyone!! Andrew arrived just before us & is staying until next Sunday. Have a lovely day tomorrow … Nadolig Llawen!

I’m avoiding Christmas shopping crowds, which are producing joys like this hereabouts
trying to type past a very needy ginger cat, and marinating soyburger for Mapo Tofu.
