So here we go. I’ve decided to go for a new iPhone and contract with the company that doesn’t offer internet TV. Which meant updating my present satellite tv option… which is way better than the internet company offered. I will be able to record films and entire series to watch at my leisure, which should save on Amazon DVD orders. Anyhow, not looking forward to the learning curve and probable initial fuck-ups which make it impossible to watch any TV properly for a few days after installation. But once that’s all done… I think it’ll be much better.

One of my complaints about paying for satellite TV is that I’m usually not at home to see the programmes I like since I tend to work evenings. This no doubt sounds a bit primative to all you habitual streamers and downloaders out there, but I’ve never been able to get into that and lack the geekiness to wirelessly connect laptop to tv set. Anyhow, quite excited about this! And new iPhone too. More on that later. When I get it!
