Woke up to the news that masks are no longer required in hospitals, health centres, pharmacies or residences in Spain. On the morning that I have a doctor’s appointment…
Just catching up with the US, hah? 🤬When I went in for a dental cleaning in November (after nearly a year) I carried my filter box with me and there was much interest and praise for my “toy better than ours” (they were running little room sized HEPAs). Everyone thanked me as I handed out n95s to those who has less effective masks. Three months later bare faces greeted me in the waiting area. This week when I had a broken crown repaired I got the vibe I was being weird for insisting on the same provisions. Yet NOTHING has changed about the virus or what it does to people. I hate it here.

The regional government (AndalucÃa) is considering maintaining the mask mandate in hospitals and health centres. Fingers crossed!
