This tired looking selection of supermarket herbs really makes me want to start my own rooftop herb garden. Any suggestions for a novice gardener? I’m mostly interested in basil, parsley and coriander.

I know I’ve been a bit heavy on the cat pics lately, but how could I not do cats with comfort?
Loki is such a massive cuddle monster. I call this one “comfort & joy”.
At other times I provide comfort to all the cats. Basically by being a big comfy human cushion.

This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “old”.
I’ve decided that if I have the good fortune to grow old and remain in relatively good health then I want to live like these people. Which, come to think of it, isn’t that much different to how I live now, but it’s lovely to see old friends like this just hanging out and enjoying life.
