. . . for The Great Mofo Delurk!
On October 3rd, delurk you mofos! Say hello! Share who you are! Put an end to your m*th*rf*ck*ng lurking and leave a comment!
We want to hear your voices in our comments, and we will love you mofo’n lurkers for it. We really will.
Maybe this time I’ll have more luck than I did with this post.

Noggin – If you don’t know what mofo is short for, I’m not about to say, but it’s an abbreviation (sort of) of two words, first one Mother

Mother? Really?
Out here in the SF Bay Area there is a large law firm, Morrison & Foerster, known informally as “MoFo” …
I thought Mo was for Morrison …

I’ve been working on delurking today. It’s tough work, this delurking. Especially if the blog author hasn’t requested delurking. I’m now up to about 5 delurks for the day, I think. (And this doesn’t count as a delurk. I usually try to at least wave hello when I pass by here.)

I think Nog failed to notice the asterisked-out longer version ‘clue’ in the post.
And so … no new lurkers! Just one ‘loiterer’ (hi again, Martha! 🙂 ) and the usual suspects.
Are you continuing to delurk, alejna? Are you linking back to your post when you comment?

Ah, I didn’t have a great luck with them lurkers on my blog either. Looks like most of them who are capable of typing comment already.

I sometimes lurk, sometimes don’t. I think that the drop in comments has to do with how many excellent blogs there are now. I honestly don’t have time to leave a comment every time I read something I like. I have a whole long list on my blogroll, and when I sit down and try to visit with them all, it takes a long time. Then if I also comment, well, I can spend the whole evening at the computer and Ruby doesn’t like that she things we should go for a walk.

Hi lemonade, and welcome. 🙂
This is true, hmh. Stopping to comment can double my online time. Then there are times when I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read somewhere but just can’t think of anything to say about it.
Though I really should make more effort to comment since I enjoy getting them so much.
Archie, when you’re done with the drains there’a a kitchen door that needs fixing. Cupboad door below the sink. Ta!

It seems you do pretty well for comments, even without asking for the lurkers to come forward. I’d be happy with a fraction of that volume! cheers from Toronto.

Really, mister anchovy? It always seems like everyone else gets more comments than me. Well, except for Nog, but that’s his fault for hardly ever posting anything on his blog and often not answering the people who do comment.
I notice that many people take the time to reply to every comment left, and I’m trying to do this now too. Even though it might take me a couple of days, like now. 🙂
