The other day I saw the fabulous King Tut video over at FFE’s place and this morning I showed it to Nog (who very surprisingly had never seen it before). Anyhow, watching ol’ Steve walk like and Egyptian reminded me that he is in fact quite a fine dancer and I remembered a tv programme I saw ages ago (turns out it was in 1981) that had Steve and Gregory Hines tap dancing together. And I just found it on YouTube so here it is for your viewing pleasure.
And here is my hero having a banjo duel with the amazing Earl Scruggs . . .
a man of many talents indeed. almost as many as the all singing all dancing all cooking christopher walken…..

Metro and I listened to one of his audio books on a trip recently — he can write too. So much talent…must be a bastard to live with or something!

Oooo, that does look fabulous. I wonder where I can find one of those stands – maybe I can use the metal one I have that holds the papertowels?
Did you also laugh when he says “I love this chicken neck, it’s great”? Brought to mind a somewhat gruesome image of ol’ Chris gnawing away on it. π

Which book was it, Lori? A quick look on Amazon shows that he’s quite a prolific writer – I’d only ever heard of a couple of these titles.
He certainly is almost ridiculously talented, isn’t he? Do you remember this one from The Muppet Show? I think it was the first time I ever saw him play banjo.
He’s also the only person I know of who can make me laugh out loud just by walking.
