About twenty years ago (maybe more?) I saw Bette in concert in Toronto and she was just amazing.

ps. I actually got to see Sleater-Kinney open for Pearl Jam back in 2003, but I was so far away from the stage I could hardly see or hear them. And then I forgot about them, and they came and played in DC right after I moved here, and now they’re broken up 😦
