Ooh, I’m going to try some of those savory options. I love figs. (I tried to get a fig tree to take root in my yard once, after meeting Gardener Jesus the neighborhood figologist, but my ever faithful brown thumb took care of that.) Who even bothers *cutting off* the stem? It’s a handle! Like a lollipop stick!

It incorporates some of Lawrence’s lines and I think it’s supposed to be profound, but I imagine everyone at that table cringing (rather than being struck to their poetic or sexual core) and wishing that prat would just shut up before he makes an even bigger fool of himself.

Totally cringe video. I think I might be already figged out after going back to get some of Francisco’s “cosecha propia” ones. Made some fig and cheese tarts. Delicious but really really sweet.
