A week ago today the UK was hit by an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale. This latest report shows the irreparable damage done at the Lincolnshire Etch-A-Sketch Museum and comes as a blow to art lovers everywhere.

Don’t you have to hold them upside-down to erase them? Those little balls or whatever they are inside all collect on the bottom. I think I’m having a no-shit-sherlock moment.

I’m horrible at Etch-A-Sketch and it hurts my wrist. It needs colors inside there somehow. Just give me a box of crayons and I can create some mean stick figures. I’m good at birds too.
M W is an upside down bird.

This is hysterical, but also a little poignant. I knew a woman who had, on display in her home, a very detailed, very well-done, etch-a-sketch drawing, carefully leaning on a shelf. A family member had done it…could he reproduce it if it fell of the shelf?
