I love coming home!
No matter how fun and exciting it is to go somewhere new I always love that feeling when I’m back in Sevilla and come through my front door. I also love my bed and I am going to really enjoy sleeping with cats piled on top of me tonight. π

I can see why you love coming home. your bedroom looks very inviting, lovely warm light

Spent most of this morning going through my photos and writing up my post for tomorrow. Nice ‘re-living’ it all again.
Also nice that it’s a holiday here today – Good Friday – so I have a long weekend to relax, get laundry done and get ready for work again on Monday.
It is a lovely bedroom, isn’t it, nursemyra? Just enough light to read by and a very comfy bed.
It was funny after we got home and got the cats feeling like things were back to ‘normal’ … I’d left out a huge dish of cat bikkies so all Paula had to do was freshen the water bowls and scoop out the litter box. But suddenly there was Sunny pathetically mieowing next to his little blue bowl. He didn’t want to eat out of the big dish, he wanted me to put a few bikkies into his bowl and sit with him and stroke him while he ate. Spoiled? You betcha. π

Welcome home, Az.
Sorry to have dropped out of the blogosphere, but circumstances beyond my control made it necessary.
Reading about your cats reminds me that it’s past time for me to find one to fill the hole left by Oliver’s passing out of my life years ago.

Hey Toby! You’ve been missed. Hope you’ll be around a bit more often now? You might like some of my ‘squalor’ pics from Tavira when I post them tomorrow.
Yes, cats have a way of letting you know what’s important in life (them!) and thereby reminding you that all your meandering thoughts and worries are not worth a hill of beans.
I find them rather refreshing in that way. Puts everything back into a perspective I can relate to. π

Good god! Is that bed for real?
Mine is always a great lump of duvet all over the place. Even my cat is a bit nervous of it.
But yours does actually look hugely inviting..
Hope you had a great time.

Hey! Your bed is huge! It’s like a play ground. Larger than a King size?

i’d never leave the bed… put in a small fridge for diet coke and rum, and i’m never leaving!
but this is why i try to make my bed before leaving on a trip. so nice to come home to ‘fresh and comfy’…

I have a hard time leaving that bed too. π
It’s a standard king size (180cm x 180cm). I’d actually wanted it 200cm long but I wouldn’t have been able to close the door.
Oh, and it usually isn’t so tidily made.
