My first time out since the op!
Pipocas took me out for lunch today at ay Maricrú. It was great to get out of the house after three weeks (though climbing the very long three flights of stairs afterwards was a drag). Anyhow, we had a lovely time and I even had wine!
The plan is to now have one outing a day in order to build up my strength. So tomorrow it’ll be Fnac because I am seriously in need of a book and it’s not too far from home. Poco á poco . . .
(sorry, no Magnums)
yay! good for you!

I’m glad that you’re getting out and about. It sounds like a lovely lunch, if ice cream-less. (And I hope you took things slowly on the stairs.)

There’s no option but to take the stairs slowly. But I was pretty pooped by the time I finally got back home and had to lie down for a bit.
It also took ages for me to eat my two tapas and I wasn’t even able to finish them.

Wonderful to see you enjoying lunch with your good friend, Az, and so good to see you with such a rosy-cheeked smile!

a close friend had surgery a week ago – and i took her out for dinner tonight! she was delighted to get out of the house – and was even up for a run to the bookstore afterwards! i see the same delight in your face… and yes, she was pooped when i got her home! We’re going to do it again, though!

I think those rosy cheeks were something to do with the wine, toby. 😉
How lucky that your friend could get out and about after just a week, daisy. Yesterday I kinda over-did it by going to the supermarket with Nog. Getting there was no problem but coming back I was reduced to a very slow shuffle. Took two hours all told. And then had to climb the fucking stairs *grumble, mutter*…
Might go to the park today. 🙂

Going to the park sounds cool. Haven’t been to the park in ages.
I generally feel like that about the stairs too.
