And no, I’m not calling him Gordon. In fact, I don’t think I’ll call him anything but extremely cute. I don’t want to get too attached since most geckos that find their way into casa az end up as cat food before very long. But this little guy has been around for the past couple of days, which is kind of a record.

they have the MOST amazing feet, with fringes of teeny tiny hairs on each toe to enable them to grip flat surfaces. Plus, cute as heck! 🙂

What about gorgeous, nursemyra?! He is GORGEOUS! We don’t have geckos here in chilly Scotland but we do have little lizards (very difficult to spot) and newts (which are GORGEOUS too!)

Re: pest control. The little guy is actually smaller than the you-know-whats so he couldn’t help out there. But the other night he was scavenging all along where the bedroom wall joins the ceiling. Good thing Nog hasn’t dusted there for awhile.

I love geckoes. I have two on the glass door next to my computer station at this instant. Huge numbers of insects are drawn to the light and these two have a feast every night.

Get a leopard gecko, they eat roaches.
It’s amazing how much info that turns up when you google gecko- but not what I really want to know – what size they are.
I know much more about van der Waal’s forces under their feet though, that I did before however…

My friend’s son has a Bearded Dragon named Guy….
I love Guy. He is huge, now! He has golden coloured eyes. So beautiful.
The Bearded Dragons were the type of lizard used n the movie “Holes” but they painted theirs and BDs do not spit poison or have poisoned bites like they did in the movie.
