There’s a lot of my heroes in that video, and they are right about a lot of things. One is to keep learning all the time. I learn something new every day. Like how to install a hard drive in my computer.
I would add: See one, do one, teach one. Teach someone else what you have learned.
What a lovely way to start my day. I got up, poured a cup of coffee and came over to the computer to start my morning visit to my friends in blog land and found this very beautiful link. thank you az!
That’s nice, Az. I can’t really think of anything to add, they covered a lot of bases.
Maybe wisdom can also come from getting comfortable in your own skin?
There was an interesting contrast in ideas there between “keep your own patch clean” and “the international community has a duty to intervene”. I, of course, side with the interventionists, though you need to also keep your own patch clean, if you don’t want to be accused of hypocrisy.
There’s little to add. Perhaps, Try to understand your enemy.

You’re welcome, hmh.
That’s a good one, Silverstar.
I really liked the ending bit with Graham Nash:
“Sometimes it’s terrifying and sometimes it’s incredibly beautiful. And I’ll take both, thanks.”
I also really liked Billy Connolly’s glasses. 🙂
