AWWWWW overload.
Murphy, if that is Murphy in the second picture, has captured my heart with the little open pink mouth. I swear I can hear the meow.

I love the little pink toesies in the snoozy photo.

They are so cute when they are snuggling. Not so cute when stringing toilet paper all over your house. I’d take them, though, if I wasn’t allergic to them.

Hear that, Blues? 😉
If you’re interested in very regular kitten updates, mudhooks, then check out wee Jacques over at mister anchovy’s. That little guy is getting some serious blog time and is also seriously cute.
And Blues (since I know you’re reading) you will no doubt enjoy mister a’s video post on T-Model Ford, so git over there.

Gotta disagree with you there, Silverstar. Stuff like that always cracks me up. Like the time (many many years ago) I had two black kittens and I came home to find a trail of white powder leading from the kitchen to the bedroom. Turned out they had not only got up onto the kitchen counter, but also into one of the cupboards, and had their way with a small bag of flour. It was a horrible mess to clean up, but finding them both (now two white cats) in the bedroom and looking at me with that “it wasn’t us!” look on their faces was just priceless.
Ah, kittens … now I’m getting all broody. Also, I know Azar would love to have a little friend to play with. Sunny is getting too old and crotchety to play. Hmmm…

divine kitties – are they Burmans?

Sledpress – yes that is Murphy in the second photo. He’s not meowwing though, just panting after a long a furious game called killing Mr Feather, which is by far his favourite toy.
Though he is the most vocal of the two. I think he may be one of those cats who has to vocalise his every move.
So far they have been remarkably well behaved as well. I’m sure that wil change in due course but my fingers are firmly crossed.
But here we are on day five and we are both already ridicoulously fond of them. Going to work and leaving them behind this morning is going to be tough.

Oh dear. I’m a male so I like dogs but dislike cats (Just So Stories) so I need to find a knobbly axe and two spare boots for I am a Proper Man – – –

Oh, just do it, Az. You know you need more cats.
Those are VERY cute, I’m enamored of the toes, too.

Well, ever since I moved to Spain cats have found me, Beth – except for Sunny, but he was a result of Lua having “found” me – so I wouldn’t actually go out looking for another cat. But I could make myself more receptive so future cats end up coming my way. I really do think that happens.
I think it’s too soon to see what “point” these two are, ian – I was very surprised to discover that all siamese/burman cats are born almost totally white. Foley & Murphy look like a “blend” to me, but I’m sure either Sara or Steve will set us straight on their pedigree.

Kittens are adorable, but they grow…
I’ve had few kittens living with me, I tend to get them when the original “owner” is fed up. Usually that means a year and a half or so.

Aww..our boys are famous! They’re Ragdolls. Foley is a blue mitted, and Murphy a blue colourpoint.
Alas, I have sad news. Mr Feather is no more. Just a few sad tinselly bits remain. I am proud to say he gave his all until the last. He had a good life, and will be missed.

Re: the panting…
Benjamin used to LOVE playing “catch” with Scrappy Doll which was a Gund horse which we used to toss up and down the hallway of our “shotgun” apartment before my ex and I split up. He eventually tired of it but could still be enticed for a few trips up and down the hallway.
Here are some photos of Benjamin as a kitten. The last photo includes Scrappy Doll.

I should say that Scrappy Doll is still around. Somewhat moth-eaten and battered but still about, though Benjamin doesn’t play at all with him any more.

Poor Wilbur… I really do hope McKenzie had to pay for that.
None of the Lair Cats would ever accept anything such, not that there are any young children around that would get the idea.

I was informed by MacKenzie today that “Wilbur” is actually “Wilbert”… My niece, Gabby, who told me his name, initially, has a bad cold.
