Today’s Photohunter theme is “bags”.
As you can see, my gorgeous Sunny has loved hiding ever since he was a kitten, but his favourite place to hide has always been – you guessed it – inside bags. And here we have three versions of “the cat in the bag” in the collage above (click to enlarge).
Of course many people think that cats prefer playing in boxes, though perhaps not quite like the big fella in the video below… 🙂

Juno is exactly the same! She loves my reusable shopping bags and my backpack! And she loves boxes! I have dozens upon dozens of photos of her pretending to be groceries or an Amazon order! It never ceases to make me laugh. And that’s why I lover her so much. 🙂

Benjamin used t love this little picnic hamper I had and used to cling into it, curl up and sleep. Only, he eventually outgrew it and simply couldn’t figure out why he kept getting stuck in it.

Great shots. I love the video also. That cat is so cool jumping into boxes and bags. My kitty is older now and not as interested in bags and boxes – just sleeping. 🙂

I love this post. It made me remember how much Mike loved playing in the paper shopping bags we brought home. He would get so excited when we were unpacking groceries, hearing the enticing and intriguing rustling of the paper bags.
Great example of the theme.

Just released a couple of comments from spam … I don’t know why so many photohunters end up in my spam file, especially after approving them almost every week. Anyhow, forgot to check yesterday afternoon – sorry about that!
And a note to Blogger users: I often run into problems when trying to leave comments using Open ID on Blogger, so just letting you know that I do visit everyone but may not comment because of “technical difficulties”.

We have box and paper products cats. Boxes have to be sat in to establish dominion. Our quarrelsome cats will fight loud battles over boxes as they circle round, jump in and mark and remark boxes. Paper bags get some attention too, but they seem to lack the importance of boxes.
I had a friend with luggage cats. Visitor’s luggage just had to be sat on and in during the entire visit.
Paper products cats? No one can read a book or write anything around here for long before a cat has to sit directly on the book, newspaper, journal or at least shed onto the writing desk and into the inkwell and the tines of every pen.

My friend Lizzie from Bristol has nothing nice to say about having my cats in her luggage. After a weekend away at Conil during one of her visits many years ago, Azar was so annoyed about this stranger taking *his human* away from him that he peed in her suitcase when we got back.
He also has a thing for paper products.
But it is only Sunny who loves to hide in bags and boxes, bless him.
