If you love your cat so much that you can’t stand to be away from it — even for a hot second — you’re in luck: Sony Computer Science Laboratories (CSL) Inc has developed a liveblogging device for Mr. Mistoffelees and friends.
If I ever do this, slap me…

Well…. I have been following Gus and Penny since I signed up for Twitter. They have quite a following. In their case, their owners set up a cat flap which is triggered whenever one or the other enters or leaves the house. There is a camera which takes their photo each time.
Penny is out to sleep under the car.
Gus is out to get rid of a hairball.
Penny is in to poop.
Penny is out to enjoy the weather.
One time the owners’ son played a little trick and wrapped himself in a bathmat and triggered the door alarm and was photographed. It took his parents a while to figure out what the “animal” was that tried to sneak in the cat flap.

I’m completely speechless. No I’m not. I’m thinking about money being spent on things like this, time being spent on following those sorts of tweets, the actual energy spent to power such a device and send that “information” around the world, and I am with norwichrocks. The world has gone mad.
