Remember a couple of weeks ago when I said I didn’t have time to be so busy? Well, things just got busier. Not only am I working like crazy to meet my SimonSeeks deadline on Sunday (just six more hotels to go!) but, as well as having a tapas tour this week and writing blog posts for Victoria, a couple of translations have come in – that also have to be done by Monday! – and on top of that I’m taking out a visiting UK travel writer tomorrow and will be attending a sherry tasting this evening (research for an article – honest!). This is where Nog is really getting a chance to shine because I know I wouldn’t be able to handle all this work on my own and he has really been helping out a lot. Now all we need is to get paid…
Still loving it, even though sometimes it feels like both me and my laptop are on fire.
Busy is good
And being paid will be supergood.

I’ve been neglecting your blog for the past while. I’ll head back to the backlog soon. Glad things are looking good for you!

How wonderful that all your hard work has paid off and become…hard work! Loving what you do is a wonderful thing, and the money will start rolling in soon. Well done, you!

Talk about your laptop being on fire … I got to this point 40mins ago & my laptop completely seized up – it wouldn’t respond to anything & it wouldn’t turn off. In the end I switched it off at the mains & briefly took the battery out ( at the suggestion of a friend ) & that seems to have done the trick … but I’ve no idea why it happened in the first place – any suggestions? Anyway, good to hear of all your goings on & that Nog is helping out a lot … things seem to be really taking off, which is great.

When my laptop siezes up I just press and hold down the on/off button and after about five seconds it shuts the computer off. Not sure if that’s the best solution but it’s less fiddly than having to take out the battery.

Yes, I tried that several times but to no avail!

The only down side to all this is that since the London trip I’ve only been to the gym a couple of times. I’m going to start back on Monday, but then Tuesday is a bank holiday. Ah well, that also means Nog has no classes so we’ll be able to get the translations done (apparently once we finish the one due for Monday Manolo will have two more for us, due on Wednesday). And then I have to get cracking on the restaurant pages for SimonSeeks.
Really miss the gym…

Oh yes, I WANT to go. But I actually have a small window each day for my two-hour routine, usually between 12.00 – 2.00 (my gym pass is only valid from 8am-2pm and there are classes in the yoga/pilates room until noon). That just happens to be the time when hotels are able to show rooms, or that Nog is free to work on stuff, or else I’ve got caught up after doing morning errands and haven’t got back in time. Blah, blah… I’m not really making excuses because I don’t want excuses. It’s mostly been because I was away for a week, then came home and had a whole whack of hotel research to do.
Weirdly I’ve lost a kilo while not going to the gym…
