This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “rose”…
Roses aren’t as common as other flowers here: orange blossom, bougainvillea, jacaranda, jasmine, carnations, geraniums… so it’s curious that during the Corpus Christi procession the route near the large altar is strewn with rosemary and rose petals.

No exotic flowers here, but I’m surrounded by roses: dog roses, and grown roses alike in all shades and sizes. 🙂

Very pretty! I do like the look of scattered petals. I wonder if they bring in the roses (or just the petals) from elsewhere for the procession.
