water cascading into Mercury’s pool at the Alcázar Palace
Spent a lovely morning re-visiting the Alcázar Royal Palace and the Cathedral – including climbing up the Giralda tower, which I haven’t done for years – and it was great. Those two very cold beers below (served in Riedel glasses!) was the reward, much needed with 40º temps. Expect more “postcards”…

You live in a beautiful place, for sure! Also, that made me want a beer. 🙂

Somehow the beer tastes much better in a Riedel glass.

I actually have Riedel wine glasses. I like them, too!

Pleasant memories evoked of walking round the Alcázar Palace with you & Peter, & also of the Cathedral & going up the Giralda tower ( tho I’d forgotten that was what it was called!) … how many years ago was that??! Stunning views & a fabulous city – must try & come again sometime. 🙂

Beautiful pictures. Did you notice that the topmost photo would have fit this week’s FFF? 😀
