This week’s Friday Foto Finder challenge is “coin”.
These are a few of the coins that I keep just in case I can ever spend them again. Which in the case of the British ones will be at the end of May (!!). The Canadian ones, not so sure. However, there is one that I will never be able to spend and it’s my favourite of them all – the dark greeny-gold one under the Canada beaver. This is a special edition 10 peseta coin minted in 1993 commemorating Joan Miró, which features a likeness of the artist on the front. It was groundbreaking for being the first peseta coin not to have an image of the king on the front, but I’ve held onto it just because I liked the design.
