For anyone who hasn’t yet seen this piece of brilliance …

Stumble aimlessly amid the trolls and waste, but remember what peace there be in staring at your toes for a couple of weeks. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all readers. Publish your posts quietly and clearly, and listen to podcasts, even the dull and garbled, for they too have a right to hog bandwidth. Avoid loud and aggressive bloggers. They are pains in the ass.

I’m personally quite happy that nobody needs a PhD to read my blog, so this result makes me feel like casa az is open to everyone, which was kinda the idea from the start.

Meanwhile, I tested this test by putting in the URL of my new travelblog, which is basically all photos and very little text, and it came out with it needing a High School level to understand it. Go figure . . .

Also, when you copy and paste the html there is some sort of cheesy advertising link for cash advance loans at the bottom (which I eliminated). So yeah, it’s pretty much a load of crap, but what the heckity. It’s now after midnight and now day 23 . . .

virtual friends

Are they for real?

I’ve never been a ‘group person’ , nor someone who likes to surround herself with lots of casual friends. Yet I seem to have acquired quite an assortment of very interesting ‘virtual friends’ over the past few years. Some of these friends I’ve met in person, others I’ve only been in contact with on blogs & forums, by email or on IM chats. Oh, and sometimes on Skype, which is cool – hearing someone’s voice seems to make them feel more like you know them… somehow.

These days I have far more virtual friends than RL friends, which I think has to do with the wider variety of personalities available when you are speaking to people all over the globe rather than, say, just in Sevilla. My RL friends think this is odd.
