It’s taken me this long to finally see the Christmas lights, which were switched on during the long weekend (Dec 6-8th). Mostly because I almost never go out in the evening, which of course is coupled with not going out much at all anyhow. This used to be one of the highlights of the year for me. This year less so. In fact Christmas itself feels less, well, like Christmas this year. And it’s not because I’ve spent it on my own, because I’ve done that plenty of times. Maybe I’m just losing the ability to get caught up in Christmas joy like I used to. Or joy in general. But yeah, the lights were lovely.

Took this pic yesterday while out and about. Now trying to decide whether to go out this evening to see the Christmas lights or just stay in my pyjamas for the rest of the day. Decisions decisions… 💙🍊
