This strange little face has always intrigued me. It’s in calle Lope de Rueda next to Plaza Alfaro, just outside the Casa Palacio de la Marquesa de Pickman. And I don’t know why.

Above is a scene from many years ago along the river Guadalquivir in Sevilla. I used to pass these guys every day on my morning bike ride. And below are fishing boats at low tide on La Caleña beach in Cádiz, strewn about like forgotten toys.
