Today’s Photohunt theme is “anniversary”.

Next week, on September 16th, it will be my 17th anniversary of arriving in Sevilla. I’ll never forget the long drive from Salamanca with two screaming cats in the car and, after timing our arrival perfectly to meet my landlord at 8pm, we ended up having to wait outside the apartment for another three hours because he had been held up. Luckily we were parked outside a fabulous bar that served us food and wine – in the car! – making the wait much more bearable, and also making my first new friends in Seville.

These photos were taken that first week in our new home. It’s a bit sad looking back as Lua and Sunny have since passed on, but it’s also nice remembering…
