Luna and Morcilla are now such fast friends that I’m going to feel guilty taking Morcilla on another trip. As soon as we got home from Málaga it was so clear that Morcilla was excited and happy to see her playmates again and immediately jumped all over them. And the girls love taking an afternoon siesta together (Loki prefers a solitary snooze in my closet). Anyhow, here they are waking up from their post-prandial nap today. Too adorable.

Here is the whole gang, lined up side by side this morning waiting for their daily malt treat.  So I thought – photo op!

As you can see, Morcilla is getting bigger and, yes, still has crazy eyes. Luna has pretty much recovered from her operation – she just needs to regrow the fur on her belly. And Loki is still a big lovable galoot and clearly outnumbered now, though he doesn’t seem to mind. Quite a nice little family.

So happy to come home after the gym and find my two girls having their first siesta together. They had both been vying for bed space the night before but wouldn’t both stay on the bed with me at the same time. In the end Luna won, even though Morcilla is the one who usually sleeps with me, which was amazing because that was also the first time Luna had ever come up on the bed for a cuddle, clearly wanting to spend the night. Maybe because she was still feeling a bit off after her operation? I don’t know. But I’m hoping the two girls will get used to sharing me and my bed. Goodness knows there’s enough room for all of us.
