No, not that kind š. Last week I saw a traumatologist at a different health centre than I’m usually sent to and I explained to the doctor that I’d been given a shot of cortisone in my shoulder in July and was told to come back for another one if that one either didn’t work or wore off. And well, it was a bit of both as it seemed to give me some relief but not for very long at all, maybe a week or two. Anyhow this doc said she wasn’t going to do that because “too many of those can further damage your shoulder!” and recommended that I go to rehabilitation instead. Then she said this wasn’t the same as physiotherapy because it “goes deeper” and then also said that if the rehab didn’t help I would need surgery (!!!). Anyhow, I don’t actually understand the difference between rehab and physio but I guess I’ll find out as my first rehab appointment has just come through for December 14th. Watch this space!
