Sevilla is always gorgeous, but walking home late afternoon I caught the Giralda lit up on one side with the autumn sun just beginning to set. Every now and again I wish I still lived in my old street.

Remember last year when I almost cried when I got to see the jacarandas (on their last legs, but I didn’t care) while we were still on lockdown, but I managed a quick detour home with my shopping trolley after an essential shopping trip. Well this weekend I got to just go out and have a look. It’s always like they happen overnight and are suddenly and gloriously THERE. 💜

The duvet has been freshly washed and aired up on the roof in the sun… and now it’s getting chilly enough to use it. Trust me, the cats LOVE duvet time. I guess I do too, it’s kind of a cosy feeling, getting under that lovely puffy bed cover. And especially with cats. Anyhow, that’s us until spring.
